I Love Being A Chiropractor

I grew up in a big Italian family and we are very close. I feel so fortunate to choose a career that I love where I am not only able to help my patients, but also my family and friends. I was always into health and fitness and after talking with a friend who was a chiropractor, I became very interested in entering the field. It went along with everything I believed in. Taking care of yourself now, so that you don’t have to take medication later.

Chiropractic Education

Dr. Peter Silecchio was born in Brooklyn, New York. His undergraduate studies were completed at California State University Northridge. From there he went on to Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles and graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned a Doctorate Degree in Chiropractic and opened his practice in Simi Valley.

Simi Chiropractic Health Center Philosophy

Our philosophy is to educate patients so that they have an understanding of how chiropractic care can help them with their current problem as well as improve their overall health.

Family

Dr. Peter Silecchio is married to Dana, and together they have 4 children, Justin, Marissa, Garrett and Peter Jr. When he is not working he is spending time with his family, working out at the gym, or playing golf (his favorite hobby). Working toward the Senior Tour (2016). Haha!

Living the Chiropractic Lifestyle

I am fortunate to work with my brother, Anthony, so I am able to get regular adjustments. I really believe in walking the walk, so I work out at the gym 4-5 days a week, plus play golf weekly. My kids all go to the gym, or are in sports and they have been taking golf lessons. We aren’t crazy about “dieting”, just eating healthy in general.

My Family Inspired Me To Be A Chiropractor

When I met my wife she was suffering from chronic headaches. She tried numerous medications and was put through multiple examinations and MRI’s. No treatment was working for her and she was in constant pain. It wasn’t until she received chiropractic care that her headaches stopped. So when my brother Peter became a chiropractor I was inspired to take a more natural approach to healthcare and decided to head in the same direction.

Chiropractic Education

Dr. Anthony Silecchio was born in Brooklyn, New York. His undergraduate studies were completed at University of New Mexico. From there he went on to Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles and graduated Cum Laude and earned a Doctorate Degree in Chiropractic and then joined his brother Peter’s practice in Simi Valley.

Simi Chiropractic Health Center Philosophy

Our philosophy is to educate our patients and heal them through a natural holistic approach. Everyone in our office works as a team to provide the best care.

Family

Dr. Anthony Silecchio is married to Valerie and they have 3 children, Donnie, Isabella, and Gabriella. I met my wife while attending the University of New Mexico. I enjoy spending time with my family. We love to go camping. I am also a musician and have played music since the age of 5. I play guitar, bass guitar and piano. My son is following in my footsteps with music and is also an avid weight lifter and high school athlete. My two daughters are competition dancers and my wife exercises daily as well. My other passion is golf. My brother and I play often.

Practicing What I Preach

Since I practice with my brother, I receive weekly chiropractic adjustments. I also exercise a minimum of 5-6 days a week and have since the age of 13. My family and I believe in leading a healthy and active life. As a chiropractor, I am not only inspired to heal and educate my patients, but to also “Practice what I preach!”.
